The bark of this tree contains N,N-dimethyl-5methoxytryptamine
(= 5-MeO-DMT) (Pachter et
al. 1959*). It may be suitable as an ingredient in
ayahuasca analogs. 5-MeO-DMT was first discovered
in this plant.
